Anderson Creek Camping 2019

August 28 - September 2

The first campers arrive, albeit from their cross Canada trip which began on June the 6th, fifteen days before our summer started.

Fred, Terry's pet Raven drops in for a Selfi as he sits on the fence just behind Iain.

Bev, Michelle, Lori, Sven, Bruce and Donna pose for a photo.

The heat keeps everyone under the canvas of the tents.  Bocci, swimming, and other strenuous events are planned in a day or two.  It's time to relax  and unwind.

Let's cook up a storm, or perhaps just about 24 burgers and a dozen smokies, Bruce suggests.
"Ja, sure," Sven replies. " Just after we drink this fine Vetliner you gave me for my birthday."

"Some say there is water down there where the Fraser and Anderson Rivers converge.  Shall we go down and cool off for a while?"  Much more thought and discussion are required before any of these hardy campers will leap out of the comfort of their chairs.

Hey guys, there is a Bear in our Pear Tree!!!!

You are kidding, right?

"Wooo cares," say Larry, Ardene and Donna. "We are in the middle of our Bocci Game."

"Oh, the bear wants to play Bocci as well.  Hey, is he moving the jack ball?  We may need to get Fred, the Raven, over to even the odds.
Whooo's turn is it to toss the Bocci Ball at the bear?"

Larry and Ardene, the undisputed Gold and Silver Medalists.  10 ends for Larry, 9 for Ardene.  Bev, Donna and Sven got 2 each so medals all around!!!  The bear, never won one end--dead last.

" I think we need shooters if we are not going to drive all the way back to Victoria will all these bottle still full of booze."  Says Terry
Doreen readily obliges.
" Look!" says wee Iain.  I can drink two shooters at the same time, one with my left hand and one with my right.  Not everyone can multi-task."
"This I want to see," muses Bev.

Terry gives a little advice on Camping with Fred her pet Raven.

As with all of our camping trips, no money will be refunded if you did not have a good time.  You may, however, be placed into the pear tree if you were bad.

"See y'all next year!" says Sven
