Mt. Washington 2019

"Let's take Nathalie down a Blue Run." suggests Andrew with a broad grin across his face.

Not one to be intimidated by a simple Blue Run, Nathalie is contemplating taking Andrew and Sven down a few Double Black runs.

The sun is out, the snow is deep and glistening in the bright sunshine.  Two blue sky skiing days for everyone who came along.

Andrew with his Austrian ski instructor.  "Soon I'll ski all the off pist runs with Tam and Shelley," states Andrew with authority.

"Austrian ski instructors know where to get good beer even if they cannot ski as well as I can," laughs Tam after getting a 500 cl can of local craft beer from Sven.

 

"Ja, ja!" says Sven while watching the aerials at the side of the run at Mt. Washington's Terrain Park.  "I give them a pointer or two while they are in the air.  Once you have a Canadian athlete up-side-down, they seem to understand my Austrian instructions.  It must be my English.  Ja, ja, und I better have another beer!"
